ADU Planner
Terms of Service
Last updated: May 30, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service apply to ADU Planner, operated by Camp Street ADU INC, a California corporation. By using aduplanner.io, purchasing a report, submitting an intake form, or booking a call, you agree to these Terms.
What ADU Planner Provides
ADU Planner provides a preliminary ADU Clarity Report designed to help California homeowners understand potential ADU eligibility, property constraints, red flags, and possible next steps before spending money on plans, layouts, contractor bids, permits, or city submittals.
ADU Planner is built by a licensed California contractor team. The report is informational and preliminary only.
What ADU Planner Does Not Provide
ADU Planner does not provide legal, architectural, engineering, surveying, construction, tax, financial, title, real estate, or permit-expediting advice. The report does not replace formal city review, licensed design work, engineering, surveying, contractor pricing, utility review, title/easement review, or professional analysis. This report does not constitute architectural, engineering, legal, or real estate advice, and no professional-client relationship is created.
We do not guarantee permit approval, final ADU eligibility, buildable size, construction cost, rental income, city approval, project feasibility, or agency interpretation.
City Rules Can Change
ADU rules, local agency procedures, zoning interpretations, utility requirements, and city review practices can change. Final requirements may depend on local agency review, site conditions, utilities, title/easements, and licensed professional analysis.
Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate contact information, payment information, property address, city, optional APN, ADU goals, and property concerns. We use the information you provide to prepare the report.
After purchase, we will ask you to confirm the property address and answer intake questions. Delivery timing depends on the property address being confirmed and the information needed to prepare the report being available.
Delivery Timing
Our goal is to deliver the ADU Clarity Report within 48 hours after the property address is confirmed after purchase. If you do not complete the intake or confirm the property address, we may contact you for clarification.
If we do not receive confirmation and are able to identify a property address from your purchase information, we may prepare the report using the first address supplied at the time of purchase.
Site Walkthrough Upgrade
The Site Walkthrough option is currently available in Southern California, including Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and San Diego County.
If someone outside the service area purchases a walkthrough, we may refer the customer to a trusted third-party partner in their area or handle the order case by case.
Payments
Payments are processed through GoHighLevel and Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout. The ADU Clarity Report is a one-time payment, and the Site Walkthrough is an optional upgrade where available.
Text Messaging (SMS) Terms
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, ADU Planner (operated by Camp Street ADU INC) may send you text messages. We offer two separate, optional opt-ins: (1) non-marketing, transactional messages about your ADU Clarity Report, appointment scheduling and reminders, and order or service updates; and (2) marketing and promotional messages, including special offers, discounts, and new product or service updates. You may consent to one, both, or neither.
Consenting to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, after which we will stop texting that number. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at info@aduplanner.io. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not share your mobile opt-in or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Report Credit Terms
Report and walkthrough fees credit toward the next-tier package only (report credits toward plans; Design Preview credits toward plans). Credits expire 90 days from report delivery, are limited to one credit per property, are non-transferable, have no cash value, and are applied automatically when you book the qualifying package.
Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In general, refunds may be available before intake is submitted or before the property address is confirmed, and requests may be reviewed case by case.
Testimonials and Examples
Testimonials, examples, scenarios, and outcomes shown on the website are intended to explain common homeowner situations and the types of issues the report may help identify. They should not be understood as a guarantee that you will experience the same result.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, ADU Planner and Camp Street ADU INC are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, lost-profit, lost-rent, design, construction, permitting, or project-delay damages arising from use of the website, report, call, walkthrough, or related services.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
